Tryouts for the AVYSL U8 - U14 competitive teams are now complete.  All players who participated in the tryouts will receive a phone call with the results of the tryouts by January 1st.

Tryouts for AYVSL’s Boys U15 teams (birthdates after July 31st 1996)  will be held in February 2012.  We have three teams, AUFC Green (Gold level), AUFC Black (Silver Level) and AUFC White (Bronze level), and we play in both Spring and Fall leagues as well as at a number of tournaments.  If you are interested in playing with us, we would like to speak to you!   Please contact team managers George Klockzl (Green team manager, georgekloczl@hotmail.com) or Frank Torres (Black team manager, frank.home@sbcglobal.net) for more information and to get on our notification list for the date and time of tryouts (TBD at this point).

The San Jose Earthquakes will establish seven U-14 Pre-Academy Regional Development Schools around Northern California as they continue to build their youth system, the club announced Wednesday. 

The San Jose Earthquakes have officially launched the Pre-Academy league, consisting of 7 training centers throughout Northern California. The goal of the Pre-Academy is to help identify and develop future collegiate and professional players at an earlier age. Tryouts for San Jose area players will be held December 5th, 6th & 7th, 2011 at Watson Park in San Jose, CA. Complete tryout information now available.
