Almaden FC "Pre-Comp Academy"
For U6-U7 Boys & Girls
The goal of the Almaden FC pre-comp program is to further develop players in a more structured and professional environment with age specific curriculum in mind.
The program is designed to provide the developmental bridge between recreational and competitive soccer through advanced player development. The Pre Comp Academy program is aimed at players aged U6-U7 (boys & girls) looking for supplementary training beyond their team practices aimed at improving the technical and tactical pathway for a future transition into competitive soccer.
It is aimed at players who want to be further challenged than their current program allows and aspire to pursue a higher level of play. The pre comp academy is NOT intended for players that find recreational soccer difficult. The program’s intention is to create greater challenges that meet the player’s needs.
The pre comp academy program will consist of a training pool throughout the spring season of practices only.
In the summer/fall seasons we will aim to create tournament teams from the pool and arrange scrimmages against local competitive teams, with the purpose of preparing the players for more competitive soccer in future years.
