Introducing the new Almaden Futbol Club

In 2011, AVYSL re-named the Tiered Program to the Almaden Futbol Club, or Almaden FC. Along with this renaming, Almaden FC also introduced several new components to the program, as well as new standard uniforms.
Almaden FC comprises the 26 competitive level teams for Spring 2011 for U8 through U13. As part of the program, the following features were added:
- Age Group training sessions - prior to the start of Team practices
- Goalkeeper training
- Speed/Agility/Quickness training provided by Extreme Fitness & Sports
- Age Group Directors to oversee age-appropriate training curriculum
