Wondolowski at Almaden Britannia ArmsThe 2011 Golden Boot winner and Bay Area soccer product Chris Wondolowski was at the Almaden Britannia Arms last Sunday.  Fans brought friends and family to the event. 

Wondolowski scored 18 goals in 2010, tops in MLS. He scored a franchise record nine game-winning goals and accounted for an astonishing 52.9 percent of the team’s scoring output for the season, a mark that ranks No. 2 all time in league history.

New Earthquakes Stadium Coming Soon?

The San Jose Earthquakes took a major step toward the construction of a new home by starting the demolition of the FMC factory on the site of their proposed new stadium. The team marked the occasion with a demolition event at the site on Thursday afternoon. Current season ticket holders will have priority rights to the new venue.
