Major League Soccer Camps is the Official Camp and Training program of Major League Soccer. In 2007 MLS Camps designed a training program with AVYSL to help players and coaches with their soccer development. It is the first year of a development plan with the primary goals being:
- Help with Coach education
- Develop Players
- Create a consistent player evaluation process
- Identify players for more competitive soccer
- To provide consistency in coaching throughout AVYSL.
In the fall of 2007 Major League Soccer camps will have four trainers working with players and coaches within the recreational program. The trainers will be in the program, providing assistance to teams and players for eight weeks.
As an AVYSL coach, you may utilize the MLS camps Curriculum for games and drills for your players throughout the season. This service is available FREE of charge as part of our partnership with MLS Camps.
