The answer is maybe. It is not guaranteed to the same level as last year, where we granted all possible mutual buddy requests for all team leaders.

In short, although we are very pleased with the success of last year’s team formation process, the team leader requests together often dictated too large of portions of teams making the rest of the process too time consuming and difficult. Plus we were not able to grant all team leader’s mutual requests and received initial complaints of unfairness. Therefore, we are asking all team leaders to ask for less, so we can grant these basic requests for every team leader whenever possible.

Of course, we will consider other names that have been requested beyond the 3, but it is a different level of importance compared to last year. We hope this makes the team formation process more fair and a more manageable task.
