Each Age Group Coordinator will initially contact all parents who volunteer to be a Team Leader for their age group between June 14^th & July 16th. This initial contact is to confirm the parents’ intention of coaching in the Fall for their age group.

If we cannot confirm your continued interest in being a team leader during the summer, we may not select you as a team leader.

The confirmation process will include the collection of information on a number of topics including:

· practice preferences;

· understanding league requirements;

· and coaching/buddy requests.

If you are a Head Coach you will be able to make 2 requests. You can request an assistant coach and a team manager, or one other team leader and a buddy for your player not attached to another team leader. If both of these people have also requested you, and it does not pull together more dominant players than we can allow per your age group’s numbers, we will grant both requests.

In other words, team leaders can usually pull together 3 players. We then place players of AGCs who are the only non-team leader role that has the ability to request a specific coach. It is a large role and should not be volunteered for without consideration of all requirements.

There may be other requests made by Team leaders and they will be considered at this point along with mutual requests not attached to any team leaders.

Due to the nature of team forming and the large variations of situations, we can not write out all outcomes per different situations. Please remember we are not intending for any parent to be able to choose large portions of a team per requests, but we hope to be able to give team leaders what they want.
