AFC Mercury ’00 Black went undefeated in Group Play.  Group Play resulted in beating Stanford United 2-0, Peninsula Pumas 3-0 and South San Jose Vipers 2-0.  Leaving Group Play with a total of 7 GF and 0 GA, the team was focused on the Champioinship. The opportunity for a 3 - peat was now achievable but Lady Luck had other plans.

SASC earned the honors and Mercury’s run for a 3rd DII CUP Championship was not to be.  Mercury lost 0-3 to SASC.  It was valiant effort! Congratulations, Mercury!
