Additional Costs - Mandatory
Each player is required to purchase uniforms according to the uniform life cycle set by the manufacturer and communicated by the league. The required uniform pieces for competitive players include:
Uniforms, when purchased as the complete set of 3 kits, run approximately $320 total, and are a mandatory purchase. Uniform life cycles are subject to change.
Each team’s head coach will also outline a team plan relative to pre-season scrimmages and incremental tournament play for the year. Participation in pre-season scrimmages and additional tournaments fees is an incremental expense incurred and shared by the team, and will be billed to team. For travel tournaments, families are expected to share the expense of the head coach’s accommodations, and in some cases travel costs.
During the pre-season and summer breaks, your age group Director of Coaching (DoC) will outline optional “AFC Element” programs at an additional cost. These programs may include summer training programs, summer camps, etc. All programs, while completely optional, will be designed and made available to maximize your player’s touch on the ball and development through the off-season.
