Our U8 Rec program has been an issue in the past few years.   The issue with this age group is that we have a mix of skilled players who will be trying out for a competition team next year with players who are not as skilled. It is also a time when referees are introduced into the game and parents and coaches are still unaware of the laws.  AVYSL has decided to use adult officials to run these games in order to better control the games and help the youth player, parents, coaches get familiar with the laws.   Were hoping with the introduction of these experienced adult officials, that it will provide an excellent playing and development experience for all players of this age group.
