AVYSL is striving to have and in many ways has achieved a high quality of officiating in its league.  We are extremely strict about your professionalism on the field. You must dress appropriately, be at the field 30 minutes in advance, and perform your responsibilities to the best of your abilities. Looking professional is the start of controlling the game.  Those official who do not display professionalism on the field will be removed from our league.  Again, as I have said before, this is a real job and you have the responsibility for the safety of the players while they are on the field.

**If you find yourself unable to make it to the field 30 minutes in advance, please contact one of the other officials assigned to the match and let them know your ETA.  If for some reason the center official has not shown up to the match, AR's are to perform check-ins and coin flip to prepare the game for an on-time start.  If an official is tardy and has not contacted you in advance or is a no-show, please indicate that an arbiter.
