Registration is open from April 21st to May 31st. Late registration will be from June 1st to June 15th. A nonrefundable fee of $25.oo will be charged for each player registered during late registration.  If there is an age group that has too many players to accommodate, due to lack of coaches or fields, the players of that age group will be registered according to the following prioritization system:

Category 1
All players of a parent who was a registered Coach, Assistant Coach, Age Level Coordinator, or AVYSL Board Member during the 2006 or 2007 Fall season(s). And all players of a parent who is selected to one of these position for this Fall 2008.

Category 2
Players who currently live in the AVYSL territory as determined by CYSA north (see link from the website’s Information page).

Category 3
Players who currently live outside the AVYSL territory.

Category 4
All players who are registered late (June 1st-June 15th), unless a parent is selected to a position from Category 1 for Fall 2008.

Within a category, the order placed on a team will be based on the date the player’s registration is completed (note: all registration fees have to be paid in full to complete registration). This system will only be used if AVYSL does not have enough field space or coaches to provide a quality program for all players in a given age group.

Players that can not be accommodated will be notified as soon as possible. If the league can not accommodate your player(s) you will have 2 options: 1 – to be placed on a waitlist, with the hope that AVYSL can find more coaches; Or 2- to receive an immediate refund of your registration fee in order to register with another organization for Fall soccer. Again, the late fee is non-refundable.
