AVYSL is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster healthful recreation and responsible social interaction through the sport of soccer. AVYSL recognizes that at times, families may need financial assistance to provide this opportunity to their children. As an organization, we are committed to raising funds in order to provide this financial assistance when needed.
AVYSL will offer limited financial assistance to families based on need when registering children for one of our five primary programs: Spring Rec Microsoccer, Fall Recreation, Kicker’s Club, Almaden Futbol Club, or Grandfathered Comp/Select. Financial assistance is not given for participation in AVYSL camps.
To request financial assistance, please complete and sign the Financial Assistance Request Form and submit it to the AVYSL Registrar as instructed on the form. Priority enrollment in the Spring Microsoccer, Fall Recreation, or Kicker’s Club program will be based on the date which the form is received.
Financial assistance will either be offered as a partial or complete subsidy of the league registration fee, or as an agreement to defer the payment of a registration fee to allow families time to have the necessary funds available.
All families receiving financial assistance will be required to perform the league-mandated 4 hours of volunteer service. Families may not choose to pay the buy-out fee if they receive financial assistance. For more information on the AVYSL Volunteer policy, please click on Volunteer under the Programs tab.
Families will be notified by the AVYSL registrar about their financial assistance request within 2-3 weeks of receipt.
