Almaden Valley youth Soccer League (AVYSL) will be hosting try-outs for the U9 thru U11 age groups in January of 2008. Try-outs will be held for both Class 1 and class 3 teams, with the exception of the U9’s for which there are no class one leagues. Players will be trying out to be on the teams for the Spring and Fall of 2008 and each Age group and gender will be looking to form multiple teams. There will be four days of tryouts for each age group and players will be encouraged to attend all the try-out days to give themselves the best opportunity to make the teams. Try-outs will be run by an independent evaluating team and this group of assessors will to give every child the opportunity to succeed.
 
 For the U9 teams your child must be born between August 1st, 1999 and July 31st, 2000
 For the U10 teams your child must be born between August 1st, 1998 and July 31st, 1999
 For the U11 teams your child must be born between August 1st, 1997 and July 31st, 1998
 
The proposed schedule of try-outs is below and please try to arrive early to sign in order to allow the event to start on time.  To save time in the registration process if you can download and bring the 1601 form (link below) that would be very helpful.
