This year we are very excited to be holding our 29th annual tournaments!
A few things about our tournaments...
Commonly asked questions -
1. Make checks payable to AVYSL.
2. We do NOT accept teams on a first come first serve basis.
(Random selection of timely applicants)
3. We DO look at last years record. Selection is based on team’s last fall win-loss record.
4. Selection is also based on geographic considerations that will provide opportunities for a variety of districts to participate.
5. Check is the Friday night before the tournament - NO exceptions.
ACCEPTANCE PACKAGES - Please check your acceptance package as soon as you receive it. There is time-sensitive material!!!
If you are accepted...
HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS....We are working with T.E.A.M.S. this year to help out of town guests with their lodging needs. Contact Kathy at 760-721-1519. She has already reserve blocks of rooms at several local hotels. Space is limited so call soon!
REFEREES...If you are interested in refereeing in either of the Almaden Tournaments, please contact the referee assignor at referee_avysl@yahoo.com Please include your name, team affiliation, referee grade and comfort level.
ROSTERS - If you are accepted to either of the tournaments, please email your complete roster to coachlela2004@yahoo.com. This saves us a lot of time and it ensures that there are no misspellings of names and that every players name goes into the program. Please type your roster in the body of the email. DO NOT send an attachment or cut and paste. Be sure to include the team name and the coaches names.
TEAM PHOTOS - Please send a team photo to me at coachlela2004@yahoo.com. These will be put in the program!
