Almaden Soccer is thrilled to announce the arrival of Dan Neal as the new 7v7 Boys Age Group Coordinator. Dan will oversee the younger age groups on the boys side of the club. He will be the Head Coach for the 2010, 2011 & 2012 boys age groups and provide support to all the younger boys teams within the club. Dan has previously won State Cup at the 2008 & 2009 age groups and coached these teams to Number 1 ranking in the country.
"I am excited to be joining Almaden FC. This new leadership role is a great opportunity for me to make a true impact on the AFC program at the younger age groups and I cannot wait to get started. I am looking forward to working with the players and developing the next crop of talent. Tom and I have worked together for many years and have enjoyed great success in the past and hope to replicate that here at AFC. The club has huge potential and I intend to work hard to establish the club as a developer of quality soccer players" said Dan.
On Dan's signing for the club, Tom had to say "I am delighted to have Dan join us here at Almaden. He and I have worked closely together for a number of years and is a coach who I respect tremendously. He has an amazing track record of developing players at the 7v7 age groups that go on to play at the highest levels. Bringing Dan as our 7v7 Boys coordinator is the first step in building a high-quality program and will support our development across the whole club. We will continue to assemble a coaching staff that will give every player the best opportunity to develop, grow and love the game. Please join me in welcoming Dan into the club."
